What if GLaDOS ran on a NES console? This is how it would sound. This is a NES cover which uses the Famicom Disk System (FDS) sound channel to simulate GLaDOS's voice (though mainly only vowels). The FDS sound channel, an Japan-exclusive hardware addition for Famicom Disk System games, allows musicians to draw their own waveforms and thus can be used to simulate voices to some degree. ~
